ABOUT OUR COUNCIL

The St. Jude Council 5801 is affiliated with St. Matthew Church at 807 Havens Corners Road in Gahanna, OH. 

Our Grand Knight for 2011-2012 is Tom Mignery.

St. Jude Council Knights are active in charitable work within St. Matthew Parish and in the Gahanna and Greater Columbus community. We help provide funds for various projects, and our members are active participants in parish life.

St. Jude Council was founded on April 17, 1966 through the efforts of several dedicated men. It is named after the Apostle St. Jude, also known as Thaddaeus, who was a brother of St. James the Less, and a relative of Our Savior. Ancient writers tell us that he preached the Gospel in Judea, Samaria, Idumaea, Syria, Mesopotamia, and Lybia.

COUNCIL MEETINGS

We meet every month in the Knights of Columbus room in Parish Support Center on the St. Matthew campus. Our Business Meeting is at 8pm on the 2nd Wednesday and we have a casual Social Meeting on the 4th Wednesday.

IN MEMORIAM

Richard Sill, father of our pastor Fr. Ted Sill, passed away on October 18th. Please pray his eternal rest and for the consolation of his family.
